ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic Round 3

South Africa's Thriston Lawrence made a spectacular moving day surge at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club, putting together a magnificent ball-striking performance during the third round of the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic to throw himself directly into the thick of the title fight. Navigating the treacherous coastal breezes with extreme composure, Lawrence carded a flawless under-par loop to apply severe pressure to the top of the leaderboard. Lawrence's precision into the greens allowed him to systematically bypass the course's penal hazards, positioning himself beautifully for Sunday's crown. Meanwhile, overnight co-leaders S.Y. Noh and Robert MacIntyre locked themselves into a grinding defensive script as the firming course conditions rejected aggressive targets, forcing them to rely on an array of clutch par saves to protect their high-ranking real estate. Right alongside them, Finland's Sami Välimäki and an ultra-aggressive Alejandro Tosti showcased excellent distance control off the tee, keeping their footprints firmly embedded within the lead pack. Pierceson Coody and Patton Kizzire experienced their fair share of back-nine turbulence over the closing stretch but executed key recoveries to safely secure their places inside the final-day conversation, setting up a thrilling championship chase.
